Position Summary:
Assist Campus Director with duties related to the Child Nutrition Program, Truancy, and other daily operations.
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- School office experience helpful (preferred)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with staff, students, and parents
- Ability to organize and correctly calculate claims for any meal program that is offered
Responsibilities and Duties:
Communicate effectively with Parents, Students, and Campus Staff via email, telephone, and fax in person in a professional manner
Organize and manage the meal program to follow federal and state guidelines.

Ability to work independently and to work as a group/team of co-workers
Operate kitchen equipment including mixer, slicer, dishwasher, warmer ovens, and other equipment.
Serves in job rotation or assist in any CNP activities as assigned including, but not limited to, cashier, server, backup, dish machine operator, food preparation, and clean-up of kitchen, dining area, storage areas, or work areas.
May operate a computer and Point of Sale (POS) system if assigned by the

ssist in the preparation of a variety of main dishes and accompanyin menu: items including sauces, soups, meats, vegetables, and fruits.
Bakes a variety of bread and pastry items including rolls, muffins, cakes, cookies, and bread.
Prepare and bake a variety of foods in large quantities and within established time constraints.
Set up and breakdown food preparation lines and serving areas; assure proper stock levels are maintained at serving tables.
Serves food in portions to students to meet mandated nutritional requirements.
Arranges food and beverage items for the purpose of serving them to students and staff in an efficient manner.
Clean and sanitize dishes, trays, pots, pans, utensils, grills, and other kitchenequipment.
Clean work areas, kitchen, cafeteria facilities and empties garbage.
Maintains and submits reports, records, and inventories in a timely and accurate manner. Rotates inventory as needed. Discards inventory according the system procedures.
Adheres to school system rules, administrative procedures, local Board policies, and state, federal and local regulations. Demonstrates support for the school system and its goals and priorities.
Ability to complete assigned work tasks with a positive attitude and demonstrate patience with students and staff
Attends required meetings, workshops, and training sessions as directed State CNP Director.

All equipment required to perform jobs duties and task previously described.
